Organic or Non-organic on an Intermittent Fasting Program?

Do you ever find yourself standing at the veg or fruit section of your favourite grocery store wondering organic or non-organic?

Does it really matter?

Is it worth the difference in price?

I get this question a lot from my clients (and sometimes from my husband when I send him out buying organic for the family)

Well now we have an independent source (EWG) that has identified (as they do on a regular basis based on testing fruit and veg) the DIRTY 12 and CLEAN 15.

For 2018 here are the Dirty 12

  1. Strawberries
  2. Spinach
  3. Nectarines
  4. Apples
  5. Grapes
  6. Peaches
  7. Cherries
  8. Pears
  9. Tomatoes
  10. Celery
  11. Potatoes
  12. Sweet Bell Peppers

For all of these GO organic, especially if you are considering doing a cleanse or about to start on a weight loss program.

For 2018, here are the clean 15

  1. Avocadoes
  2. Sweet Corn
  3. Pineapples
  4. Cabbages
  5. Onions
  6. Sweet Peas Frozen
  7. Papayas
  8. Asparagus
  9. Mangoes
  10. Eggplants
  11. Honeydew Melons
  12. Kiwis
  13. Cantaloupes
  14. Cauliflower
  15. Broccoli

For these you can consider purchasing organic or non-organic if you want to economise on your grocery bills.
